Overland West Freight Lines Ltd. and Comox Pacific Express Ltd. have remained fully operational with uninterrupted service during the recent spread of the COVID-19 virus and our intent is to continue operations safely. We are continuing to monitor the situation carefully and taking all necessary precautions to ensure the health and well-being of our staff, customers, partners, and the general public.
With this in mind our primary concern is safety and we have implemented a number of strategies to ensure our staff is following proper protocols to minimize the spread and to protect the communities in which we live and work. We have created a comprehensive business continuity plan with a number of policies and adjustments to the way we operate. These protocols involve; regular cleaning and sanitizing of work areas, limiting the movement of staff within our facilities, restricted business travel, careful contingency planning, and encouraging personal and social responsibility within our company.
We understand customers may be implementing new processes for pickups and deliveries and are working to meet these requirements. Should there be any changes please direct to your sales representative, customer service representative, or local service center manager so that we are able to brief our staff.
